Liverpool youngster Carvalho: RB Leipzig spell hit confidence

Liverpool youngster Fabio Carvalho believes that he can shine at the club next season.

The talented attacker endured a mixed season with two different loan spells.

While he failed to make the grade at RB Leipzig in the first part of the campaign, his spell at Hull City in the Championship was a roaring success.

Speaking to The Mirror, Carvalho says: "I went to Leipzig as I thought it was the best position for me at the time.

"If I'm being honest, when I was there my confidence was low. I was playing five minutes here and there and it wasn't enough.

Then when I did step on the pitch I didn't really know what I was doing because my confidence was [gone]."
